 Cara Mengkrimping Kabel RJ45

Untuk menyambung UTP ke RJ 45 terdapat dua proses yaitu Straight dan Cross.
Straight berfungsi menyambungkan 2 device yang berbeda. Sedangkan Cross  berfungsi menyambungkan 2 device yang sama.

Alat dan bahan yang dibutuhkan saat mengkrimping :

1. Tank Crimping
2. Kabel UTP
3. Cable Tester
4. Konektor RJ 45

Pasangan Warna Kabel UTP 

1. Pasangan 1: Putih-Biru dan Biru
2. Pasangan 2: Putih-orange dan Orange
3. Pasangan 3: Putih-Hijau dan Hijau
4. Pasangan 4: Putih-Coklat dan Coklat

Langkah Langkah membuat crimping kabel straight : 

a. Ambil dan potong kabel UTP, jangan lupa atur jaraknya. Potong kabel menggunakan Tang Krimping

b. Kelupas isolator atau pembungkus kabel UTP sekitar 15 mm

c. Uraikan kabel menjadi 8 kabel secara urut

d. Urutkan kabel UTP dengan tipe straight untuk hub ke komputer. Urutannya adalag putih-oranye, oranye, putih-hijau,biru,putih-biru,hijau,putih-coklat,dan coklat.

e. Luruskan kabel. Kemudian potong untuk merapikan ujungnya dan masukan ke RJ 45

f. Jika sudah, masukan kabel UTP kedalam konektor RJ45 sesuai urutan.

g. Crimping konektor RJ45 dengan menggunakan tang krimping.
